Structured quality plan
The structured quality plan feature in quality management enables the reuse of approved quality standards across multiple quality control plans while maintaining traceability, consistency, and governance. It reduces duplication of quality checks, improves standardization, and ensures that pendent plans reflect the latest approved requirements.
Import plan lines
The Import Plan Lines action allows you to reuse approved quality standards by copying quality control plan lines from a certified Quality Control Plan page into the current plan. Imported lines remain linked to the source plan to ensure consistency and automatic synchronization.
- Open the Quality Control Plan page.
- Execute the Import Plan Lines action.
- Choose a certified quality control plan. Draft, non-certified, and the current plan are excluded.
- Select one or more plan lines and confirm the import.
Imported lines are marked accordingly.
The system provides full traceability for the Imported Plan Lines action through automatic synchronization notifications. When a source Quality Control Plan page is updated or certified, all dependent plans are synchronized automatically.
The system displays notifications with details, including the quality control plans updated and the number of plan lines affected, ensuring transparency and audit readiness.
Visual identification of imported lines
Imported quality control plan lines are displayed using a distinct color. This allows you to quickly distinguish inherited lines from manually created lines, improving readability during reviews, audits, and ongoing maintenance.
Restriction on multi-layer importing
To maintain clear traceability and avoid complex dependency chains, multi-layer importing is restricted. Plan lines that are already imported from another Quality Control Plan page cannot be re-imported into additional plans.
Remove imported lines
The Remove Imported Lines action allows you to delete inherited plan lines when they are no longer required.
- Open the Quality Control Plan page containing imported lines.
- On the action bar, execute the Remove Imported Lines action.
- Choose the source quality control plan and confirm the action.
All imported lines from the selected source plan are removed in a single step. A confirmation message is displayed before removal to ensure users understand the impact.
