Two reports are available for posted quality control checks. The Print Document action generates a detailed summary for a single check, and the Print Check Listing action generates a tabular overview across multiple checks. Both actions are available under Print on the action bar of the Posted Quality Control Check card and the Posted Quality Control Checks list.

The Print Document action generates the Quality Control Summary report for the selected posted quality control check. The report includes:

  • Company information — Company name, address, phone, fax, email, and logo.
  • Inspection information — Document number, completion date, check date, the user assigned to the check (labeled Inspected By), lot number, item number and description, source reference (labeled by source type), document quantity, contact (salesperson or purchaser), and origin (the country/region code of the source).
  • Inspection parameters — Document type, posting or production date, and quantity context: produced quantity for production orders, shipped quantity for sales and purchase returns, or received quantity for purchase orders and sales returns.
  • Check lines — Each question listed with its question code, description, answer, and sample size. Up to five photos are printed per question line.
  • Scoring — When scores are configured on the quality control plan, a scoring section shows the criteria, calculation method, sign, value, and actual result for each score, followed by the total score.
  • Document line comments — When the Aptean Advanced Comments (ACM) extension is installed, sales or purchase line comments from the source document that are marked to print on the posted quality control check are included.

For example, a check on a purchase receipt includes the received quantity, the vendor reference, and the purchaser code from the source order.

To generate the report, select Print > Print Document on the action bar. On the Posted Quality Control Check dialog, enter a check number to filter and select Print or Preview.

The Print Check Listing action generates the Posted Quality Check Listing report, which lists multiple posted checks in a tabular format. For each check, the report shows the check number, check date, assigned user, status, result, required samples, document type, document number, lot number, item description, source type, source name, and work center. Question lines are shown beneath each check header, including the sample size, question code, description, answer, unit of measure, whether the question was mandatory, the line result, and the target lower and upper limits and warnings.

On the Posted Quality Check Listing dialog, the following filter fields are available:
