Features

With the feature added in this release of the Aptean Quality Control (BC) extension, the Comment field on quality control plan lines accepts up to 2,048 characters, up from 100, and any web address or markdown-style link entered in the comment renders as a clickable link, opening in a new tab, in the Quality Control App. For more information, see Quality control plans.

Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Quality Control (BC) extension, a quality control plan line linked to a lot attribute question of type Option or Lookup automatically sets its Calculation Method field to First, and a Lookup-type lot attribute question can be answered from a picker of allowed values, with the answer validated before it is accepted. For more information, see Quality control plans.

Note

Answering a Lookup-type lot attribute question requires the Aptean Advanced Attributes for Food and Beverage extension at version 2603.1.0.0 or later. On an earlier version, no allowed values are returned and the answer picker has nothing to select from.

  • The number of outstanding and completed quality control actions linked to a posted quality control check is shown directly on the Posted Quality Control Checks page, with drill-down to the underlying action list for each count. (User Story #385731)

  • Two new public procedures, CheckDocsManagementProcessWarehouseReceipt and CheckDocsManagementProcessWarehouseShipment, have been added to the QCPublicFunctionsWrapper92FDW codeunit so that an external application can trigger quality control check creation for a warehouse receipt or warehouse shipment it created programmatically, matching the checks created by the standard warehouse document flow. UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The No. of Outstanding QC Actions field has been added to the Posted Quality Control Checks page.
  • The No. of Completed QC Actions field has been added to the Posted Quality Control Checks page.
  • The Total No. of QC Actions field has been added to the Posted Quality Control Checks page.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.
