View verification audit trail

Every pre-weigh verification event, whether an approval or rejection, is automatically logged through the Aptean eSignature framework into an immutable audit trail. Each entry captures the verifier identity, timestamps, item and lot details, weights, and a cryptographic signature token for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance. After posting, the verification record ID is stored on registered warehouse activity lines and item ledger entries for bi-directional traceability.

To view the verification audit trail, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Item Ledger Entries, and then choose the related link.

    The Item Ledger Entries page opens.

  2. Locate the consumption entry for the production order.

  3. Review the Verification Record ID field, which links to the pre-weigh verification log entry.

  4. Select the Verification Record ID to drill down to the verification audit log and view the full signature details including verifier name, timestamp, action, and signature token.

The audit log is write-once. No user can update or delete audit log entries. Corrections require new compensating entries.
