Set up production failures

On the Production Order Overview page, one possible shop floor status option is Failure. When a production order is set to the Failure status, the user is required to submit a reason for the failure.

To set up a list of possible failure reason codes, follow the steps below.

1. Select the Search icon , enter Shop Floor Production Failure Code, and then choose the related link.
   The Shop Floor Production Failure Code list page opens.
2. In the Code field, add a unique identifier for each failure reason.
3. In the Description field, add a detailed description for each failure reason code.
4. Select the Active checkbox to make the failure reason code available on the Production Order Overview page. Inactive failure reasons are not displayed in Shop Floor Production.

If your company previously used the Power App version of Shop Floor Production, some failure codes may already be present.
