Note

• The ad-hoc quality check creation, the quality check badge, and the multiple simultaneous recurring quality checks require the Aptean Quality Control (BC) extension and the Aptean Integration Layer extension.
• The lot production date editing requires the Aptean Expiration Management extension for the field caption and the Aptean Lot Management extension for lot production date storage.
• The lot attribute display and the Available Lots modal use the Aptean Advanced Attributes extension; inspection status and lot origin detail columns use the Aptean Inspection Status and Aptean Lot Management extensions when installed. The system degrades gracefully when any of these extensions are absent.

Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Shop Floor Production extension,

• Multiple recurring quality check triggers can run simultaneously on a single production order routing line, with each trigger tracked independently and scheduled against the actual cumulative production time. The new Recurring Quality Check Tracking page, opened from the Recurring Quality action on the Prod. Order Routing page, lists every trigger for the routing line with a calculated Next Check Expected value, Open QC Checks Count and Posted QC Checks Count columns, and a Force Check Now action that creates a check immediately and resets the recurring baseline. A Create First Recurring Check on Start option on the QC Triggers page creates the first check the moment production starts. For more information, see Integration with Aptean Quality Control (BC).

• A one-off quality check can be created directly from the Production Order Overview page in Shop Floor Production. Select the + button next to the quality tile to open a modal that captures the production order context and the selected QC Team and QC Plan, then creates the quality check and offers direct navigation to it in the Aptean Quality Control (BC) extension. A Default QC Team field on the Shop Floor Production Setup page pre-populates the team. For more information, see Integration with Aptean Quality Control (BC).

• Lot attribute information is available when selecting lots for consumption. Up to three attributes configured on the Lot Attributes FastTab of the Shop Floor Production Setup page appear below the standard quantity, expiration date, and bin details in the consumption Lot No. dropdown. A new Available Lots modal, opened from the ellipsis button on the Lot No. field of the Register Input page, shows all available lots in a table with lot, inventory, expiration date, bin, variant, inspection status, and attribute columns, plus a details panel of lot attributes and lot origin details. For more information, see Register consumption.

• List page layouts are administrator-configurable through a list profile framework, with no code deployment required to change which columns appear. The new SFP List Profiles page and its related SFP List Profile Pages, SFP List Profile Columns, and SFP List Profile Assignments pages control column visibility, order, pinning, width, search-bar inclusion, per-column filtering, sorting mode, text style, and compound two-line cells, and assign profiles to individual users or role centers. The Production Order List page is the first page supported. For more information, see Set up list profiles.

Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Shop Floor Production extension,

• The output bin can be changed during output registration when the Allow Edit of Output Bin field on the new Outputs FastTab of the Shop Floor Production Setup page is turned on. When the field is turned on, the Bin Code field on the Register Output page is a dropdown of all bins at the production order line location, defaulting to the production order line bin code; when it is turned off, the Bin Code field remains read-only. The selected bin is validated by standard warehouse management validation during posting. For more information, see Register output.

• The lot production date can be viewed and edited within Shop Floor Production when the Allow Edit Lot Production Date field on the Shop Floor Production Setup page is turned on. The field appears on the Production Order Details page with a click-to-edit interaction, as a column on the output listing, and as an editable field on the Register Output page, and uses the caption configured in the Aptean Expiration Management extension. Registration is blocked when the entered date does not match the existing production date recorded for the lot. For more information, see Register output.

• A quality check badge appears in the top bar of the Input list and Output list pages, showing the open quality check count for the production order. The badge shows the same count as the quality tile on the Production Order Overview page and opens the Aptean Quality Control (BC) extension pre-filtered to the production order when selected. The badge is hidden when the count is zero. For more information, see Integration with Aptean Quality Control (BC).

With this release of the Aptean Shop Floor Production extension, the OnAfterCalcRestrictConsumptionToComponentBin integration event has been added to the SFPBCAvailableLotAndBin14FDW codeunit to allow a partner extension to override whether component consumption is restricted to the bin on the production order component line, on a per-component or per-location basis.

Resolved issues

The following issue has been resolved in this release.

380106	The system fails to display unmapped or newly uploaded SharePoint files in the Work Instruction Worksheet page when the non-Graph API SharePoint option is used.
380420	The system fails to calculate the correct weight quantity when posting a catch weight item using a license plate from the Register Input page, which could also result in a validation error blocking the post.
