The TLx Setup page streamlines the connection between the Business Central (BC) and TLx. It manages authentication, allowing BC to send tokens to TLx for a secure connection. This page also offers settings to control and manage the connection between BC and TLx.

To set up the integration, follow the below steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter TLx Setup, and then choose the related link.
    The TLx Setup page opens.

  2. On the General FastTab, in the Automatic Send to TLx on Release group, turn on the Sales Order toggle to automatically send the released sales order to TLx for routing.

  3. Similarly, turn on the Purchase Order toggle to automatically send the released purchase order to TLx.

  4. Similarly, turn on the Transfer Order toggle to automatically send the released transfer order to TLx

You can send documents to TLx even if the mentioned toggles are turned off on the TLx Setup page, by using the Send to TLx action directly on the Sales Order and Purchase Order and Transfer Order Card pages.

The options are Inches (in) and Centimeters (cm). The default value is Inches (in).

In TLx, the default units for weight and length are pounds and inches, respectively. If alternative options are configured in Business Central, they will be converted accordingly.

The system uses the TLX unit of measure when sending the request to TLX if you define a value in the TLX Unit of Measure field on the associated Item Card page. Otherwise, it uses the unit of measure specified in the related order. However, the TLX unit of measure is associated to the item unit of measure and if a conversion is defined between TLx unit of measure and base unit of measure, the system automatically performs the calculation in the payload.
