On the Mesh Home screen, the Internal section displays a list of inventory movement documents that are available for processing.

The list includes:

  • Documents assigned to the respective warehouse employee.
  • Unassigned documents that are available for processing.

Documents are displayed as tiles, each showing key information such as:

  • Document No.
  • Type (Inventory Movement)
  • Location
  • Assigned User
  • Assigned Date

When a user selects a document tile, the system navigates to the Detail screen, where the activity line details are displayed, including:

  • Item No.
  • Lot
  • Quantity
  • From Bin
  • To Bin

From this screen, warehouse workers can proceed with the inventory movement workflow in the Aptean Mesh mobile app.

Processing warehouse activity line

The following procedure shows how to register an inventory movement in Mesh.

  1. Open the Mesh Home screen.
  2. Select Internal > select the document.
    The Detail screen opens.
  3. Open the warehouse activity line.
  4. In the Scan Take Bin field, scan or enter the bin code from which the item will be picked.
  5. In the Lot Tracking: Required field, scan or enter a lot number (if required). This step includes an Undo option.
  6. In the Enter Quantity field, scan or adjust the quantity. Scan entries are created in the system with a Pending status.
  7. In the Scan Place Bin to register field, scan or manually enter the bin code. Once the bin is scanned or entered, the Inventory Movement process is registered successfully.

Scan GS1-compliant barcodes

You can scan GS1-compliant barcodes containing GTIN information to automatically populate multiple workflow fields during inventory movement. This eliminates manual entry and strengthens traceability across the movement process.

  1. Open the Inventory Movement screen in Mesh.
  2. Scan the GS1-compliant barcode containing GTIN information.

The system completes the Inventory Movement for the item once all the required data is scanned.

The Inventory Movement is posted, and the system creates warehouse entries.
