Bin contents
Warehouse workers can perform live bin inventory inquiries directly from the mobile application. The operator must be assigned as a warehouse employee with a default warehouse location to use the feature.
Bin Contents is accessed directly from the Mesh Home screen as a standalone action from the hamburger menu. The worker taps the Bin Contents button, and the system immediately opens the Bin Contents page. It provides a real-time view of inventory across all bins at the operator's default warehouse location, with progressive filtering by bin code, item number, and variant code.
The Bin Contents page shows the following elements:
- A scan input field is available at the top of the page with the prompt "Scan Bin, Item, or Variant", allowing manual entry or barcode scanning at any time.
- A filter info section below the scan field displays the currently applied filters.
- A bin content list displays all matching records for the operator's location. Each card shows the item number, available quantity, bin code, and variant code. If no records are found, a "No bin contents found" message is displayed.
- An Undo button appears when at least one filter is active. Tapping it removes the most recently applied filter and refreshes the results.
When a bin is scanned, the system retrieves and displays all available contents within the selected bin. You can refine the displayed results by applying additional filters such as item or variant. Likewise, when an item or variant is scanned, the system filters and presents the corresponding bin contents based on the applied criteria.
The Undo button removes the most recently applied filter, updating the list automatically each time it is tapped.
Bin contents cards
When one or more filters are applied, the system displays bin contents based on the selected location, bin, item, or variant. Only items with available quantity (greater than zero) are shown in the results.
Each bin content card includes:
- Item No. – Identifies the item available in the bin.
- Quantity – Shows the available stock in the bin.
- Bin Code – Indicates the bin where the item is stored.
- Variant Code – Displays the item variant, or "–" if not applicable.
Lot details screen
When a bin content card is tapped, the system opens the Lot Details screen, displaying the available tracking information for that specific item in the selected bin.
The system retrieves and displays tracking details based on the selected location, bin, item, and variant. Only entries with available quantity (greater than zero) are shown.
On the detail screen, each tracking entry is displayed as a separate card with the following information:
- Quantity – The total available quantity for the tracking entry in the bin.
- Type – Indicates the tracking type (Lot, Serial, or Package).
- Lot No. – Displays the lot number for lot-tracked items.
- Blocked – Indicates whether the lot or serial is blocked (Yes/No). For packages, this is always shown as No.
The system ensures that only valid and available tracking entries are displayed, based on the applied filters and item tracking type.
The Lot Details screen is for viewing purposes only. Selecting a line does not trigger further navigation or actions. You can print labels from this screen.
