Request reports
The Reports dialog on the My Account Dashboard page lists the document reports available to your account. When the Aptean Document Publication extension is configured by your administrator, you can request a report to be generated and delivered to your registered email address as a PDF attachment.
To request a report, follow these steps:
- Open the My Account Dashboard page.

Select the REPORTS button.
The Reports dialog opens and displays the list of available reports with the following details:
Column Description Report Name The name of the report. Select the report name to request it. Last Run The date and time the report was last requested. Last Completed The date and time the report was last successfully completed. Status The current processing status of the report. -
Select the name of the report you want to request.
The system submits the report request and updates the Status column. The status refreshes automatically every 15 seconds.
The Status column displays one of the following values:
Status Description Queued The report request has been received and is waiting to be processed. Submitted The report has been submitted to the reporting service. Running The report is currently being generated. Completed The report has been generated and sent to your email address as a PDF attachment. Failed The report could not be generated. Contact your administrator if this issue persists. Timed Out The report generation exceeded the allowed processing time. Contact your administrator if this issue persists. The report is sent as a PDF attachment to the email address registered with your account.
For example, you need an invoice summary for your account. On the My Account Dashboard page, select REPORTS. In the Reports dialog, locate the report you need and select its name to request it. The Status column updates to Queued and progresses through Submitted and Running. Once the status shows Completed, the report has been generated and sent to your registered email address as a PDF attachment.
