Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean TLx Integration Connector, you can:

  • Send transfer orders to TLx on release by turning on the Transfer Order toggle in the Automatic Send to TLx on Release group on the TLx Setup page. When a transfer order is released, Business Central sends the payload to TLx. If the transfer order is updated after the initial send, Business Central automatically re-sends the updated payload. TLx responds with a ScheduleShipment V2 callback that stores the BOL number, carrier, trailer number, seal number, and scheduled ship date on the transfer order and updates the TLx Status field value to Schedule. If the Create warehouse shipment toggle is turned on in the TLx Setup page, Business Central automatically creates a warehouse shipment for the transfer order when the ScheduleShipment callback is received.
  • Include lot numbers, serial numbers, expiration dates, and quantities in all outbound TLx payloads (Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and Transfer Orders) by turning on the Send Item Tracking toggle on the TLx Setup page. Business Central reads the Reservation Entries for each order line and appends a Tracking array to each line item. When lot assignments change on a released order that was already sent to TLx, Business Central automatically re-sends the updated payload.

Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean TLx Integration Connector,

  • You can configure the TLx Code field value on the Company Information page to support outbound request processing in multi-company Business Central environments. The system includes an ERP-Code HTTP header in every sales order (OB) and purchase order (IB) request by combining the Client ID field value from the TLx Setup page with the TLx Code field value. If the TLx Code field value is blank, the system does not include the header.
  • The system adds the Order Date, Vendor Code, Vendor Name, and a Shipper address block to the purchase order (IB) payload. The address block includes the name, street, city, state, country, postal code, contact, and phone number from the vendor's buy-from address. The system skips fields when the corresponding source values are blank.
  • The system adds the ItemWarehouseCode field value to purchase order (IB) and sales order (OB) line items. The system derives this value from the line Location Code field value and uses the header Location Code field value as a default value when the line value is blank.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Additional Services, Send to TLx, and TLx Log actions have been added to the Transfer Order card.
  • The TLx Details FastTab has been added to the Transfer Order card.
  • The TLx Code field has been added to the Company Information page.
  • The TLx Freight Payment Type, TLx Status, Last Sent to TLx, TLx Shipment ID, TLx Trailer Number, TLx Seal Number, and TLx Scheduled Ship Date fields have been added to the TLx Details FastTab of the Transfer Order card.
  • The Transfer Order toggle has been added to the Automatic Send to TLx on Release group on the TLx Setup page.
  • The Send Item Tracking toggle has been added to the TLx Setup page.
