Enhancements/Modifications

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration extension,

  • The SSCC requirement in a warehouse pick is determined per source document instead of per customer only. The OnBeforeSSCCIsEnabledForOrder integration event is added in the SSCC Handler codeunit, raised before each SSCC decision in the pick flow, enabling custom extensions to switch SSCC registration on or off for an individual source document. If no custom extension handles the event, the SSCC requirement is taken from the Enable SSCC toggle on the Customer SSCC Setup page, as before.

  • You can select a printer and specify the number of labels while printing labels from mobile app when the Label Printing Method field on the Mobile Setup page is set to RDLC report.

  • The system can now automatically generate a Lot Number for Lot No. profile configured with Production Date when clicking accept button in details screen during receiving. The system can generate the Lot No. when Batch Assign Lot is set to Yes in Mobile Profile Setup for the RECEIPT page.

  • You can set the Parsing by default description value to No on the Mobile Profile Setup for PICK page, so a manually entered or scanned value is used exactly as entered instead of being parsed as a GS1 barcode. For more information, see Mobile profile setup.

  • You can set the Show "Ignore Parsing" Barcode Button description value to Yes on the Mobile Profile Setup for PICK page to view the Ignore parsing Boolean in the pick screen. For more information, see Mobile profile setup.

  • The system can open the existing receipt or create a new receipt when a multi-location Purchase Order or Sales Return Order is scanned in quick scan based on the user's active location.

  • For a multi-location Purchase Order, receipt No. in the purchase order card screen and the purchase order lines will be scoped to the user's active location.

  • The OnAfterMobilePickProcessId integration event is added in the Mobile Pick codeunit, raised after a scanned Pick ID is processed, enabling a custom extension to implement its own item substitution confirmation logic and request a confirmation prompt before continuing the pick, for example to confirm substituting the originally ordered item with a BC-configured substitute item. This is a custom extension point only; no substitution logic or prompt is included by default in this extension.

  • The following integration events have been added to the MobilePhysInvtEvents44FDW codeunit so that custom extensions can extend the physical inventory count in the mobile app. When no custom extension subscribes to the events, the physical inventory count works as before.

    • OnBeforeGetPhysicalInv: raised when the mobile app opens the physical inventory count screen for an item journal batch.
    • OnProcessPhysicalInventoryOnBeforeItem_LotStep: raised before a scan is processed at the Item or Lot step. The parsed barcode values (license plate, item, lot, weight, quantity, and shipping unit) are provided, and a custom extension can handle the scan itself to skip the standard processing.
    • OnProcessPhysicalInventoryOnBeforeLicenseplateStep: raised before a scan is processed at the License Plate step. The parsed barcode values are provided, and a custom extension can handle the scan itself to skip the standard processing.
    • OnAfterPhysicalCount: raised after a line has been counted and its scan entry has been inserted. A custom extension can amend the scan entry and change the next prompt shown to the operator.

    • OnBeforeCreateDocumentWeightLineOnTransferScanEntries: raised before the document weight line of a physical inventory journal line is created while scan entries are transferred. A custom extension can handle the creation itself to skip the standard document weight line.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Show "Ignore Parsing" Barcode Button and Parsing by Default description values have been added to the Mobile Profile Setup page. These descriptions are visible only when the Page field is set to PICK.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.
