Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Essentials extension,

  • You can define the External Document No. Check Mode field value to On Release or On Posting on the Sales & Receivables Setup page when the external document number mandatory validation is applied for sales documents. For more information, see Set up external document number check mode.

  • The system enforces mandatory validation of the External Document No. field for sales documents at the configured execution point. If the External Document No. field value is left blank, you cannot release or post the document. For more information, see Validate external document number on sales release and posting.

UI/UX changes

The External Document No. Check Mode field has been added to the General FastTab of the Sales & Receivables Setup page.
