Aptean Beverage Advanced Warehouse Management for Drink-IT - Release Note - 9/23/2026 -
Features
With the feature added in this release of the Aptean Beverage Advanced Warehouse Management extension, Drink-IT Edition,
-
a new Partial Shipment of Loaded LPNs field is available in the Advanced Warehouse Management group on the Location Card page, controlling whether posting a warehouse shipment can ship only the license plates that are loaded; the field value can be set to Never (default), Confirm, or Always. The field value is set to Never on every existing location during the upgrade to this version. The field value applies only when every line of the warehouse shipment is destined for a transfer order, or for a customer or vendor whose License Plate Tracking Code holds an outbound, negative adjustment rule for warehouse document type Shipment referencing a posted shipment; for any other shipment the existing posting behaviour is used. When the field value is Never, the Post Shipment action keeps the existing behaviour and asks for confirmation that one or more pallets do not have the loaded status. When the field value is Confirm and some but not all license plates are loaded, a confirmation states how many pallets have the loaded status and asks whether to ship only those; answering No falls back to the existing confirmation, and answering Yes ships the loaded license plates only. When the field value is Confirm and none of the license plates are loaded, an information message states that none of the license plates are loaded and the existing behaviour is used. When the field value is Always, only the loaded license plates are shipped, and an error is shown when no license plate is loaded. Shipping the loaded license plates only sets the Qty. to Handle (Base) field value to 0 on the license plate reservation entries of the license plates that are not loaded, and aligns the item tracking and the Qty. to Ship field value on the warehouse shipment line with the license plates that remain, so the outstanding quantity stays open for a later shipment. The loaded status is the status set in the Stat Loaded LicPlate field value on the Advanced Warehouse Setup page.
Additionally, posting a warehouse shipment whose license plates all have the shipped status now shows the standard error stating that there is nothing to post because the document does not contain a quantity or amount, instead of asking for confirmation that one or more pallets do not have the loaded status.
Extension dependencies
The following extensions have been updated in this release to support the new or enhanced features:
| Extension Name | Minimum version requirement | Extended functionality |
|---|---|---|
| Aptean Beverage Foundation Layer AWM for Drink-IT Edition | 2507.4.0.0 | Provides the Partial Shipment of Loaded LPNs field on the Location table and its underlying option enum, holding the Never, Confirm and Always values, on which the new field on the Location Card page in this release depends. The field value is set to Never on every existing location during the upgrade to this version. |
Enhancements/Modifications
With this release of the Aptean Beverage Advanced Warehouse Management extension,
-
the Qty. to Ship field value on a Warehouse Shipment line for a License Plate tracked item can be reduced without first deleting the License Plate Reservation Entries: reducing the quantity to handle in the License Plate Tracking now adjusts the Item Tracking and the Qty. to Ship field value automatically, instead of blocking the change, and the License Plate Tracking action can now be selected on a line that is License Plate tracked only through the customer or vendor. For more information, see Walkthrough: Adjust quantities on a License Plate tracked shipment line.
-
the Shipment Printed field value on a License Plate is turned off again whenever the license plate's content changes, so the license plate label is reprinted after the change. For more information, see Walkthrough: Print license plate labels for LPN Mandatory Customers.
-
the Get Bin Content action on the Internal Movement page carries the license plate tracking of the bin content into the LP Tracking Entries, in addition to the item tracking, so an internal movement reflects exactly which pallets are planned for movement. A new From Get Bin Content field on the Internal Movement page is set to Yes for a line created by the action. Adding a manually entered line while a line created by the action exists on the same document, or changing any field other than the To Bin Code field on a line created by the action, requires confirmation, since either change resets the From Get Bin Content field value to No for every line on the document and stops the license plate tracking from carrying over to the Inventory Movement. Deleting a line created by the action also removes its associated LP Tracking Entries. The Create Inventory Movement action carries the license plate numbers and license plate types into the created Inventory Movement lines, with the Qty. to Handle field value prefilled with the full quantity, and sets a matching From Get Bin Content field there to Yes, only when every line on the document was created by the action; otherwise the Inventory Movement is created without license plate tracking, as before. An Inventory Movement line with the From Get Bin Content field value set to Yes cannot be changed manually, except for the bin assignment fields (Bin Code, Zone Code, Bin Ranking, Bin Type Code, Dedicated and Special Equipment Code) on a place line.
UI/UX changes
The From Get Bin Content field has been added to the Internal Movement page.
Resolved issues
The following issues have been resolved in this release.
| ID | Description |
|---|---|
| 389741, 389788 | The system fails to block deletion of the License Plate Reservation Entries for a Transfer Order line created by the Get Bin Content action, and does not validate at posting that the remaining entries cover the line quantity, so the Warehouse Shipment posts the full quantity even after every license plate reservation for the line has been deleted. The same gap existed on a line spanning multiple lots, and on the inbound side when receiving a Transfer Order line created by Get Bin Content. |
| 389743 | An error occurs when re-validating the Unit of Measure Code field on a Transfer Order line created by the Get Bin Content action with its current, unchanged value: the system incorrectly raises the error stating that the Quantity field value cannot be manually changed. |
| 385875 | An error occurs when selecting the License Plate Tracking action on a Warehouse Shipment line for an item that is License Plate tracked only through the License Plate Tracking Code field value on the destination customer or vendor: the system incorrectly states that License Plate tracking is not enabled for the outbound flow. Additionally, the system fails to allow shipping less than picked on a License Plate tracked line, because reducing the Item Tracking was blocked outright whenever a License Plate Reservation Entries line existed. |
| 390977 | The system does not initialize the LPN Customer Shipment Restriction field value on the Advanced Warehouse Setup page after installing version 2603.1.0.0, causing an unwanted comment to be added to every new pick. |
| 376276 | The system fails to enable installed apps on the Feature Control page when a company is created via the data import wizard or via Copy Company. Additionally, an error occurs in the Companies page. |
| 380072 | The system fails to allow manual entry of the License Plate No., Quantity (Base), and Qty. to Handle (Base) field values on the License Plate Reservation Entries page for a production output, consumption, or assembly journal line when the Directed Put-away and Pick field value is set to Yes on the Location Card page, preventing a missed License Plate No. (SSCC) from being entered and quantity from being added to an existing License Plate No. (SSCC). This issue was resolved in version 2603.1.0.0. |
