Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Advanced Attributes extension,

  • You can define lot attribute categories such as Heavy Metals, Microbial, and Physical through the Lot Attribute Categories page, and assign them to lot attributes using the new Attribute Category field on the Lot Attribute page, enabling enhanced data organization and filtering capabilities.   • You can track the QA testing outcome for lot attributes through the QA Status field on the Lot Attribute Value Selection page, which is automatically populated when QA test results are linked to a lot attribute and can also be manually set by users.   • You can select only specification-compliant lots for customer orders through the Spec-Compliant Lot Selection page, which filters available lots based on customer specification profile criteria with support for Strict mode (compliant lots only) and Show All mode (with override approval for non-compliant lots), including a Lot Compliance FactBox displaying detailed attribute pass/fail comparison.   • You can control when and how the system updates lot attribute values and requirements using the Target Table field on the Lot Attribute Source Mapping page, replacing the Trigger field.

    • When you upgrade to this release, the system automatically updates existing mappings to the new structure: Mappings with Trigger = On Assign are updated to use Target Table = Lot Attribute Value. Mappings with Trigger = On Modify are updated to use Target Table = Lot Attribute Filter Requirement.
    • The system supports using data from the Tracking Specification page as a source for purchase orders and released production orders.
    • The system supports automatic recalculation of lot attribute values when mapped source fields are modified after the lot number is created from a purchase order or production order.
    • The system supports automatic recalculation of lot attribute requirement values when mapped source fields are updated or modified on sales orders.

Enhancements/Modifications

This extension has been updated to ensure interoperability with the recent changes in the Aptean Simple Factory Wizard extension. To know more, see What’s new in Simple Factory Wizard, version 2601.0.0.0.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Lot Attribute Categories page has been added.
  • The Attribute Category field has been added to the Lot Attribute page.
  • The QA Status field has been added to the Lot Attribute Value Selection page. T
  • The Spec-Compliant Lot Selection page has been added.
  • The Lot Compliance FactBox has been added to the Spec-Compliant Lot Selection page.
  • The Trigger field has been replaced by the Target Table field on the Lot Attribute Source Mapping page.
  • The Tracking Specification (Table 336) option has been added to the Source Table ID field on the Lot Attribute Source Mapping page.

Resolved issues

The following issue has been resolved in this release.
