The Spec-Compliant Lot Selection page allows you to select only specification-compliant lots for customer orders. It filters available lots based on customer specification profile criteria, displaying lot compliance status with detailed attribute comparison. You can use Strict mode to show only compliant lots, or Show All mode to view all lots with override approval for non-compliant selections.

To select spec-compliant lots for a sales order, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Sales Orders, and then choose the related link.

The Sales Orders list page opens.

  2. Select the sales order line that requires lot assignment.

  3. Select Item Tracking Lines to open the item tracking page.

The Item Tracking Lines page opens.

  4. Select Spec-Compliant Lot Selection.

The Spec-Compliant Lot Selection page opens, pre-filled with the customer and item from the sales order line.

  5. In the Spec Profile field, select the customer specification profile to use for filtering.

The system auto-selects the profile using priority logic: Specific Item > Filter Group > All Items.

  6. In the Compliance Mode field, select the filtering mode. The available options are:

    • Strict: Displays only lots that meet all specification criteria. Available to all users.
    • Show All: Displays all lots with compliance indicators. Non-compliant lots are marked with warning icons and require override approval. Available to privileged users only.
  7. Review the Lot Compliance FactBox to view the selected lot's detailed attribute compliance, including required values, actual values, and pass/fail indicators.

  8. Select one or more compliant lots and enter the quantity to allocate for each.

The system validates that the total allocated quantity does not exceed the sales order line quantity.

  9. If selecting a non-compliant lot in Show All mode, confirm the override and enter an override reason when prompted.

Override approvals are logged with user ID, timestamp, and reason text.

  10. Select OK to return the selected lots to the sales order line.
