Define lot attribute categories

Lot attribute categories allow you to group and classify lot attributes into logical categories such as Heavy Metals, Microbial, and Physical. You can assign categories to lot attributes to enable enhanced data organization and filtering capabilities in the profile rules UI.

To define lot attribute categories, follow these steps:

1. Select the Search icon , enter Lot Attribute Categories, and then choose the related link.

   The Lot Attribute Categories page opens.

2. Select New to create a new category record.

3. In the Code field, enter a unique identifier for the category.

4. In the Name field, enter a descriptive name for the category.

5. Select the Search icon , enter Lot Attributes, and then choose the related link.

   The Lot Attributes page opens.

6. Select the lot attribute you want to categorize.

7. In the Attribute Category field, select the category to assign to the lot attribute.

You can use the assigned categories to group and filter lot attributes in the profile rules UI.
