Enhancements/Modifications
With this release of the Aptean Transport extension,
- The system significantly reduces the processing time required to create warehouse shipments when you select the Create Transport Order action on the Transport Planning page with the Create Warehouse Shipment(s) toggle turned on. This improves performance when processing a large volume of source documents.
- You can use the Transport Setup page to configure the Default Allow Manual Transport Route Assignment field, to control whether the Allow Manual Transport Route Assignment field defaults to Yes or No on new Sales Orders and Sales Return Orders. Additionally, the Allow Manual Transport Route Assignment field is now available on the Sales Return Order page, so you can manually assign a Transport Route Code.
- The system respects the complete transport route assignment hierarchy every time it determines the transport route for a sales, sales return, purchase, or purchase return document. The system searches the transport route assignment lines of the customer or vendor from the most specific combination of address code and location code to the least specific one, and stops at the first line that runs on the shipment date. The same hierarchy is applied when the shipment date notification is displayed and when the shipment date is moved automatically to the next or previous available shipment date. For more information, see Transport route assignments.
- Selecting the Update Weights action on the Lines FastTab of the Transport Order page calculates the Calculated Weight, Net Weight, Tare Weight, and Calculated Volume field values for a sales order, purchase return order, or transfer order line using the picked quantity on the linked warehouse shipment line, when a warehouse shipment line with a picked quantity exists for that source document line. When no picked quantity exists for the line, the system continues to calculate the weight and volume field values using the shipped or received quantity plus the outstanding quantity. When a source document included in the recalculation is already fully posted, the system displays a message that lists the affected source document numbers and does not recalculate the weight and volume field values for those documents.

Resolved issues
The following issues have been resolved in this release.
| ID | Description |
|---|---|
| 380109 | The system fails to convert the quantity to ship to the item's base unit of measure on the warehouse shipment line when the Post Shipments action is used on the Transport Management page, resulting in an incorrect quantity on the posted sales shipment when the sales line uses a unit of measure other than the base unit of measure. Additionally, the system posts a separate sales shipment for each transport request that shares the same warehouse shipment, creating multiple sales shipment documents instead of one. |
