Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Transport extension, the system:

  • Allows you to publish reports directly from the Transport Order and Posted Transport Order pages using the Publish and Publish Directly actions. This enables transport planners to quickly email or print transport order documents to shipping agents without manually downloading reports. For more information, see Publish reports from transport orders.

  • Uses custom category codes to link transport order documents to the document publication report selection setup. You must configure the Transport Order Custom Category Code and Posted Transport Order Custom Category Code field values on the Transport Setup page. For more information, see Configure the Transport Setup.

  • Supports all email origin options for transport/posted transport order reports, including Fixed, Document, Contact, and Organizational Level.

Integrations

The Aptean Transport extension has been integrated with the Aptean Document Publication extension. For more information, see Integrations.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Publish and Publish Directly actions have been added to the Transport Order list and card pages.
  • The Publish and Publish Directly actions have been added to the Posted Transport Order list and card pages.
  • The Transport Order Custom Category Code field has been added to the Transport Setup page.
  • The Posted Transport Order Custom Category Code field has been added to the Transport Setup page.

These fields and actions are only visible when the Aptean Document Publication extension is installed.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.

366281The system fails to transfer freight cost lines from transport orders to related orders when executing the Post Transport Order action on the Transport Management page. This issue occurs when a transport order includes freight cost with the Aptean Trade Management extension installed, resulting in missing freight costs.
