Assign shipping services to customers/ship-to addresses

You can assign the shipping services to the customer or to a specific ship-to address which are linked to the sales order during the creation of the order with the related customer or ship-to address.

To setup the shipping services for the customer, follow the below steps: 1. Navigate to the desired Customer Card page.

  1. On the action bar, select Related > Shipping Services.
    The TLx Customer Shipping Services page opens.

  2. In the Code field, select the desired code.

  3. In the Description field, enter the explanatory text.

  4. Navigate to the Ship-to Address page of the selected customer.

  5. On the action bar, select Related > Shipping Services.

  6. Repeat the steps 3 and 4.

The shipment method code selected should have the Send to TLx checkbox selected, else it will be 0.

On creating the sales order for the above selected customer, the Includes Shipping Services field is updated with 2 as two shipping services are added.

The shipping services should be added to a customer before releasing the order.
