Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Sublot Management extension,

  • You can configure the system to automatically generate sublot numbers using the original lot number as a base, with a configurable separator and an incremental two-digit numeric suffix. This makes sublots immediately identifiable as derivatives of their parent lot, improving traceability and reducing manual entry errors during quality hold procedures. For more information, see Set up sublot management and Create Sublot from existing lot.  

  • The system automatically assigns an inspection status to a sublot when you create it, based on a configured default value. If a default value is not configured, the system inherits the inspection status from the original lot. You can change the pre-populated value before saving the sublot. For more information, see Set up sublot management and Create Sublot from existing lot.  

  • The system automatically generates and prints a sublot when you create a sublot with the Auto Print Sublot Label toggle on the Sublot Management Setup page turned on. The system displays the label directly in the browser without requiring additional navigation. For more information, see Set up sublot management.

  • You can restore a sublot to its original parent lot using the Restore to Original Lot action on the Lot No. Information Card or Sublots page. You can restore the full sublot quantity or specify a partial quantity for lot-tracked items. The system validates eligibility, merges the quantity back into the original lot, clears quality hold flags, and creates the corresponding ledger entries. Resolved issues

The following issue has been resolved in this release.

This issue occurs when the Sublots page is accessed by selecting the No. of Sublots field value or by navigation through the Related > Sublot > Sublots on the Lot No. Information Card page.
