Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Shop Floor Production extension, the following changes have been made to ensure compatibility with Business Central, version 28.0.

  • The GetItemTrackingInfoForProdOrderOutput procedure in the SFPBCGetLotNo14FDW codeunit has been updated to use the Prod. Order Line-Reserve codeunit for initializing item tracking specifications from production order lines, replacing the deprecated direct initialization method in line with the updated tracking specification architecture.

  • The GetItemTrackingInfoForProdOrderOutput procedure in the GetLotNoAPI14v10FDW page has been updated to use the Prod. Order Line-Reserve codeunit for initializing item tracking specifications from production order lines, ensuring the API endpoint for retrieving lot numbers continues to function correctly.

  • The ProdOrderLineReserve.InitFromProdOrderLine method call has replaced the TempItemTrackingSpecification.InitFromProdOrderLine method in both the SFPBCGetLotNo14FDW codeunit and GetLotNoAPI14v10FDW page to align with the refactored item tracking initialization pattern for production orders.

  • You can properly support inheritable lot attributes, aligned with the standard production process in BC. Inherited attributes and values can be added to lot information when opening the Attributes action during output registration. This enhancement addresses the issue reported in bug ID #351775.

UI/UX changes

The Machine Center List page in shop floor production shows machine center name alongside machine center number.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.
