Enhancements/Modifications

Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Lot Management extension:

  • On the Item Tracing FastTab of the Mass Balance Analysis View page, the Transfer Shipment Allocation Weight Qty, Transfer Receipt Allocation Weight Qty, and Remaining Transfer Receipt Weight Qty fields have been added. These fields display transfer allocation lines for both Transfer Shipment and Transfer Receipt entries within the analysis period. For more information, see Item Tracing.

  • On the Reconciliation FastTab of the Mass Balance Analysis View page, the Transfer Shipment Allocation Weight Qty, Transfer Receipt Allocation Weight Qty, and Remaining Transfer Receipt Weight Qty fields have been added and are included in the Calculated End Balance calculation. For more information, see Reconciliation.

  • On the Mass Balance Analysis List page, when modifying a filter field in the General FastTab or Lot Attribute Filters for an existing record that has already been calculated, the system displays a confirmation message to recalculate the analysis. For more information, see Mass Balance Analysis List.

  • Mass Balance Analysis consistently selects the KG quantity source based on the item type. For Catch Weight (CAW) items, weight quantities are retrieved from Item Weight Ledger Entries. For standard items, weight quantities are retrieved from the Total Net Weight field on Item Ledger Entries. Weight quantity calculations are based on the item type and are consistently applied across all Mass Balance sub-pages, including Starting Balance, Purchase Receipt, Transfer Receipt, Positive Adjustment, Total Available, Production Output, Transfer Shipment, Sales Shipment, Negative Adjustment, Ending Balance, and Reconciliation. Analyses containing both Catch Weight and standard items are supported, with each item using the appropriate weight source based on its type. For more information, see Mass Balance Analysis View.

  • On a Purchase Order line, when the Use Date field value on a lot number profile element is set to Production Date, the lot number is now generated using the Vendor Production Date field value entered on the Item Tracking Lines page, instead of the field remaining blank. If the Vendor Production Date field value is blank when the lot number is assigned, or when a license plate is created for the line, the system displays an error message and does not assign a lot number. For more information, see Set up lot number profiles.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.

IDDescription
382538The system fails to display only the expected Consumption Allocation lines on the Reconciliation page when a Mass Balance Analysis is calculated for item using lot attribute filters code and value.
382528The system fails to prevent the same Lot Attribute Code from being selected more than once in the Lot Attribute Code 1, Lot Attribute Code 2, and Lot Attribute Code 3 fields on the Mass Balance Analysis page. This issue causes duplicate lot attribute columns to appear in the Mass Balance Analysis View page.
384732An error occurs when opening the Item Tracking Lines page from a Released Production Order line whose Prod. Order No. field value exceeds 10 characters, while the Permit Lot Selection For Positive Adjustments checkbox is selected on the Lot Management Setup page.
