Integration with Aptean Process Manufacturing

The Aptean Advanced Attributes extension has been integrated with the Aptean Process Manufacturing extension. You can inherit lot attributes on co-product output lots and unplanned output lots.

After completing the lot attribute template setup (see Set up lot attributes), lot attributes are inherited automatically when a lot is assigned to a co-product output line.

1. Select the Search icon, enter Released Production Orders, and then choose the related link.
2. Open the relevant production order.
3. On the Lines subpage, select the component line and choose the action Item Tracking Lines.
4. Select the consumed lot number for the component.
5. On the Lines subpage, select the co-product output line and choose the action Item Tracking Lines.
6. Assign a lot number to the co-product output, or assign a lot number to the unplanned output line via item tracking lines.

The system automatically looks up all consumed component lots for the production order and copies all inheritable lot attribute values to the co-product output lot and unplanned output lot.

• The co-product output line must be a Production Type = Co-Product or Production Type = Unplanned Output line created via Refresh Production Order. Manually added lines may not carry the correct source line for reference.
• If multiple consumed component lots have conflicting values for the same inheritable attribute, the system does not inherit that attribute.
• If the co-product item's Lot Attribute Template has a fixed value configured for an attribute, the fixed value takes precedence and is not overridden by inheritance.
