What's new in version 2602.2.0.0
Enhancements/Modifications
With this release of the Aptean Product Specification extension, the system excludes the BOM component from product specification calculations for the end product when the Processing Aid toggle in a production BOM line is turned on. This ensures that auxiliary materials such as dusting flour used during production but not present in the final product are excluded. The exclusion applies across all calculation sections triggered by the Calculate Food Declaration action: nutritional values, ingredient declarations, etc. The Processing Aid toggle is evaluated per individual Production BOM line, meaning the same item can be excluded on one BOM level while still contributing through another BOM level when the toggle is turned off. This enhancement addresses the issue reported in bug ID #375634.
UI/UX changes
The Processing Aid toggle has been added to the Production BOM and Production BOM Tree pages.
