Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Product Specification extension,

  • The system creates and manages new versions of product specifications when there are changes to the production BOM or packaging details. The system allows you to create a new version from the Product Specification Raw Material page using the Create New Version action, define a new version code, and set a unique starting date to ensure only one version exists per starting date. For more information, see Product Specification Raw Material.

    • The Product Specification Analysis page supports additional filtering and data export capabilities. The system supports applying the Line Filter field value on the Filters FastTab when viewing the product specification analysis matrix and, supports an Export All Items to Excel action to export all product specification items in the analysis matrix to an Excel file. For more information, see Product Specification Analysis.

    • The Product Specification report includes the Country of Origin and Allergens columns and calculates ingredient presence percentages grouped by country of origin, while also providing a consolidated allergen summary based on recipe data. Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Product Specification extension, the system validates the total Limit Total Ingredients Manual % field value on the Ingredients FastTab of the Product Specification Raw Material page does not exceed 100%. UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Export All Items to Excel action has been added to the Product Specification Analysis page.
  • The New Version Code Implementation and New Version Code fields have been added to the Create New Product Specification Version report.
  • The Line Filter field has been added to the Filter FastTab of the Product Specification Analysis page.
  • The Limit Total Ingredients Manual % field has been added to the Ingredients FastTab of the Product Specification Setup page.
  • The Country of Origin and Allergen Summary columns have been added to the Product Specification report.
