Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Profiles extension,

  • Profiles that are referenced on open sales orders can be modified without restriction. Informational notifications indicate profile usage on open sales orders and follow standard Business Central notification preferences, while existing audit logging and sales order processing behaviours remain unchanged.

  • The system enforces profile validation during warehouse picking by filtering available lots to show only profile-compliant lots, validating manually entered lot numbers, and integrating profile rules with FEFO picking so that non-compliant lots are skipped and only eligible lots are selected, ensuring that profile violations are detected earlier in the process instead of at posting time.   • The Inclusion Behaviour field on the Profiles page to control the application of inclusion rules during profile validation. The field supports two options, Restrictive (whitelist) and Conditional (additive). For more information, see Profiles.

UI/UX changes

The Inclusion Behaviour field has been added to the Profiles page.
