What's new in version 2602.0.0.0
Features
With the features added in this release of the Aptean Expiration Management extension, you can:
-
Manage production dates at the lot level using the Lot Production Date field on the Item Tracking Lines page for production orders. The system automatically calculates expiration-related dates based on the Lot Production Date and notifies you when working with posted lot numbers. To know more, see Calculations.
-
Validate minimum sales shelf life compliance during warehouse pick creation, auto-allocation, manual lot entry, and pick registration through integration with the Aptean Customer Specification Profiles extension, ensuring only lots meeting customer shelf life specifications are picked and shipped. For more information, see Validate lot compliance during warehouse picking.
Enhancements/Modifications
With this release of the Aptean Expiration Management extension,
-
You can set today’s date as the base for calculating the expiration date by selecting the Current Date option in the Expiration Date Calc. field on the Item Expiration Setup and Item Attribute Expiration Setup pages. This ensures the expiration date is calculated based on the actual processing date instead of the document date. For more information, see Set up item expiration and Set up expiration management.
-
Updates have been made to ensure interoperability with the recent changes in the Aptean Simple Factory Wizard extension. To know more, see What’s new in Simple Factory Wizard, version 2601.0.0.0.
