What's new in version 2603.2.0.0

Aptean EDI  •  Release Note  •  9/23/2026  •

Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean EDI extension,

  • The outbound Aptean EDI 810 (Invoice) message has been enhanced to support emitting line-level allowances as ServiceAllowanceChargeDetail (SAD) segments.

The new INC_SAD_ALLOWANCES port option controls this behavior:

  • Yes — All line-level allowances are emitted as SAD segments. More than three allowances per line are fully supported, and none are dropped.
  • No — Default. The existing behavior is preserved.
  • When INC_SAD_ALLOWANCES = Yes and INCLUDE_LINE_CHARGES = Yes, the SAD loop contains both charge and allowance segments. Neither option suppresses the other.
  • When the DrinkIT extension is installed, DrinkIT discount allowances are included as SAD segments when INC_SAD_ALLOWANCES is enabled. When INC_SAD_ALLOWANCES is disabled, the existing allowance processing remains unchanged.

Integrations

The updates made to the Aptean EDI extension to work seamlessly with the following extension:

  • The inbound Aptean EDI 860 (Purchase Order Change) message has been enhanced to correctly map the Ship-to Address fields on the Sales Header. The BuyingParty corporate address no longer overwrites the Ship-to address fields when processing an 860 message.
  • The inbound Aptean EDI 860 message no longer resets the Bill-to Address fields when the message does not contain Bill-to address data. The Bill-to fields remain as set by the originating 850 or prior state.
  • The USE_NAV_BILLTO port option has been added to the 860 port, working the same way as on the 850 port:
    • Yes — Bill-to address fields remain unchanged regardless of what the 860 message sends.
    • No — Default. Bill-to address fields are mapped from the incoming 860 message.
  • The outbound Aptean EDI 943 (Warehouse Stock Transfer Shipment Advice) message has been enhanced to correctly populate the UCC128Label, LotNumber, ExpiryDate, and ProductionDate fields for warehouse receipt lines sourced from a Transfer Order. When no receipt-side Reservation Entries exist, the system now resolves license plate and lot details from the posted transfer shipment's Item Ledger Entries, ensuring trading partners receive accurate pallet, lot, and date information for reconciliation. This enhancement applies to the base, Level 3, and Level 4 variants of the 943 port.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The INC_SAD_ALLOWANCES port option has been added to the EDI 810 Port page.
  • The USE_NAV_BILLTO port option has been added to the EDI 860 Port page.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.

IDDescription
392695The Recalculate EDI Packages action incorrectly suppressed package recalculation for non-AWM sources on tenants with the Aptean EDI Bridge for Drink-IT (AWM) installed.
389826The outbound Aptean EDI 810 message created duplicate SAD segments and double-counted charges when the same item charge code was used on attached and unattached charge lines. Unattached item charges were also not reported at the header level.
378492The system did not populate the Vendor No. field on Sales Order lines when an item was entered, causing the Create Drop Ship. & Special Order POs action to fail with a validation error. The Vendor No. field was also not available on Sales Order Lines, preventing users from identifying or correcting missing vendor information.
357935The system incorrectly required GUI interaction when processing inbound EDI messages with contract pricing, causing automated processing through the Job Queue to fail for Aptean EDI 850, Aptean EDI 860, Aptean EDI 945 Level 4 Sales Invoice, Aptean EDI 810 PURCH, ORDERS D96A Sales Order Inbound, and Aptean EDI 855 Purchase messages.
