Setting up items with EMCS Quantity (1000 pcs)

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Items, and then choose the related link.
  2. Open the relevant item card.
  3. On the Drink-IT Foundation FastTab, in the EMCS Quantity (1000 pcs) field, enter the number of individual pieces per one base unit of measure.

The EMCS Quantity (1000 pcs) field is only used when the associated excise product has the EMCS Unit field set to 1000 Items. For items using other EMCS units (Kg, Litre15, Litre20), the existing calculation paths via net weight or unit volume continue to apply. For more information, see EMCS units.
