What's new in version 2602.0.0.0
Features
With the features added in this release of the Aptean Shop Floor Production extension,
-
You can configure how registered output quantities are displayed on the Output tile for multi-stage production orders, giving operators accurate visibility into work-in-progress at each routing line stage. For more information, see Set up shop floor production.
-
You can configure lot number persistence behavior for individual items. In the Lot No. Per field on the Replenishment FastTab of the Item Card page, select the lot number assignment method for a specific item. When configured, the item-level setting overrides the global setting on the Shop Floor Production Setup page. Items where the Lot No. Per field value is left blank use the global setting. For more information, see Set up shop floor production.
-
You can register consumption by scanning Aptean Warehouse Management license plates on the shop floor. The Strict, Allow Quantity Difference, and Expect GS1 consumption modes are all supported. For more information, see Register consumption through GS1 barcodes.
Enhancements/Modifications
With this release of the Aptean Shop Floor Production extension,
-
You can assign a single work instruction file to multiple items or work centers without uploading the file multiple times. Use the Manage Associations action on the Work Instruction Worksheet page to create mapping line associations for a work instruction. For more information, see Work instruction worksheet and migration.
-
The system applies to the behavior of the selected option in the Mode field when an order is selected from the list on the Shop Floor Production page. This change addresses the issue where the behavior only applied when a production order number was entered in the Search box. This enhancement addresses the issue reported in bug ID #353904.

Resolved issues
The following issues have been resolved in this release.
| ID | Description |
|---|---|
| 336968 | The system fails to prevent the deletion of an item journal template or item journal batch that is referenced on the Shop Floor Production Setup page. This issue occurs when a template or batch is deleted while it is still in use, which can result in consumption being shown as registered without any item ledger entries being created. |
| 353904 | The system fails to apply the selected Mode behavior when an order is selected from the list on the Shop Floor page. This issue arises when the production order number is not manually entered in the Search box. Additionally, the selected Mode functions consistently whether the order is selected via search or by clicking from the list. |
| 365092 | The system fails to load work instructions in a timely manner when the connected SharePoint library contains a large number of work instruction files. |
