Validate lot compliance during warehouse picking
You can associate a customer and optionally a contact person with each formulation through the Customer Information FastTab on the Formulation Card page. When a project is linked to the formulation, the customer and contact fields are automatically populated from the project's bill-to customer and contact information, ensuring consistency and reducing manual data entry.
To associate a customer and contact with a formulation, follow these steps:

Select the Search icon
, enter Formulations, and then choose the related link.The Formulations list page opens.

Select the formulation to configure.
The Formulation Card page opens.

Expand the Customer Information FastTab.

In the Customer No. field, select the customer to associate with the formulation.
The Customer Name field is automatically populated based on the selected customer.

Optionally, in the Contact No. field, select the contact person for the customer.
The Contact Name field is automatically populated based on the selected contact.
The contact must be associated with the selected customer. If no customer is selected and a contact is chosen, the system automatically populates the Customer No. field from the contact's business relation record. When a project is linked and both the Customer No. field and Contact No. field are empty, the system automatically populates them from the project's bill-to fields.
