Non Conformances  •  Release Note  •  8/26/2026  • 

Note: This release requires an administrator action before upgrading. The Microsoft Graph app registration used for Teams Synchronization must be granted the delegated TeamworkTag.ReadWrite permission, with admin consent. Until it is granted, users cannot obtain an access token once their current token expires, and the Change Status action fails with the message Could not get access token. Please, try to log out and log in again. Users who are not administrators see a Need admin approval prompt when signing in. This applies to every environment that has Teams Synchronization turned on, whether or not notification tags are used. See Set up non-conformance for details.

Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Non Conformances extension,

  • the Description field on a non-conformance action has been extended to support up to 250 characters.

  • a posted Quality Control Check can be linked to a non-conformance from the Process action group on the Non-Conformance card. When a Quality Control Check is linked to a Vendor Non-Conformance, the Vendor No. field is automatically populated from the linked Quality Control Check. This enhancement addresses the issue reported in bug ID #382139.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Link Posted Quality Control Check action has been added to the Process action group on the Vendor Non-Conformance, Customer Non-Conformance, and Internal Non-Conformance pages. The action is visible when the Aptean Quality Control extension is installed.
  • The Notification Tag Name field has been added to the Microsoft Teams FastTab on the Non-Conformance Setup page.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.

385356The system does not display the correct Status Management Status Description for each row in the Customer Non-Conformances list on load. All rows show the same description (the last active record's value) or the column appears blank; the correct value only appears row by row as the user selects each record.
385359The system fails to default the Source Type field to the correct non-conformance type when a new action is created from the Actions or CAPA Actions factbox on a Customer or Internal Non-Conformance. The Source Type field value always defaults to Vendor Non-Conformance instead of matching the parent non-conformance type.
