Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Non Conformances extension,

  • You can link an existing posted quality control check to a non-conformance by using the Link Posted Quality Control Check action on the Customer Non-Conformance, Vendor Non-Conformance, and Internal Non-Conformance pages. This complements the existing Link Quality Control Check action, which lists only open checks, so a failed or completed check can be referenced as evidence on the non-conformance. For more information, see Integration with quality control.

  • Capture and retain root cause details for a non-conformance using the new Root Cause Description field, available on the Customer Non-Conformance, Internal Non-Conformance, and Vendor Non-Conformance pages, and their corresponding Closed pages.

  • Indicate the effectiveness of a corrective action using the new Effective field on the Vendor Non-Conformance page.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Link Posted Quality Control Check action has been added to the Customer Non-Conformance, Vendor Non-Conformance, and Internal Non-Conformance pages.

  • The Root Cause Description field has been added to the following pages:

    • Customer Non-Conformance
    • Closed Customer Non-Conformance
    • Internal Non-Conformance
    • Closed Internal Non-Conformance
    • Vendor Non-Conformance
    • Closed Vendor Non-Conformance
  • The Effective field has been added to the Vendor Non-Conformance page.
