Integration with Aptean Labeling

When the Aptean Mesh extension is used in conjunction with the Aptean Labeling extension, the label printing feature allows the Aptean Mesh mobile app to automatically print a warehouse label after each receipt line is posted. Configuration is performed on the Mobile Setup page in Business Central.

Setup

To configure label printing, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Mobile Setup, and then choose the related link.

    The Mobile Setup page opens.

  2. On the General FastTab, enter the required information in the following fields:

    Auto-Print LabelsSpecifies whether a label is printed automatically after a warehouse receipt line is posted. Set this field to Yes to activate label printing.
    Label ProviderSpecifies the labeling solution used to print labels after warehouse receipt posting. The default provider is Aptean Labeling for Food and Beverage.

Labels can be printed manually from the Receipt screen after a scan entry has been created.

  1. Open the Receipt screen in Mesh and complete a scan entry for a receipt line.
  2. Tap the Print button in the footer bar.
  3. Enter the number of labels to print in the dialog and confirm.

The system sends the label request to the configured label provider in a background session. A success message is displayed on the device.

The Print button is available only when there is a pending scan entry on the current receipt line.

Labels can be printed for a specific lot directly from the Bin Contents detail view.

  1. Open the Bin Contents screen in Mesh and select a bin.
  2. On the lot detail list, tap the Print icon on the lot card.
  3. Enter the number of labels to print in the dialog and confirm.

The system sends the label request to the configured label provider in a background session. A success message is displayed on the device.
