Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Beverage Event Management extension, Drink-IT Edition,

  • The system automatically creates a sales return order for loan-in-use items when the blanket sales order is released and the Logistics Status field value matches the configured trigger status on the Event Management Setup page in the Order Entry From Event Status (Sales) field value, and the Automatically Create Return Order toggle on the Event Management Setup page is turned on. The system creates the return order based on the loan-in-use items linked to the blanket sales order, using the route code from the blanket sales order, and streamlines the return process for event planners.

  • The system copies the event dimension code from the Blanket Sales Order page to the automatically created Sales Return Order page. The system defines this dimension code on the Event Management Setup page and applies it to all event-type documents to ensure consistent dimension tracking across sales and return orders.

  • The system validates that the External Document No. field has a value before creating a sales order from a blanket sales order when you use the Make Order action, the Ext. Document No. on Release Mandatory toggle on the Advanced Sales Management Setup page is turned on, and the Ext. Document No. on Release Mandatory field value is set to Yes on the Customer Card page. This validation applies only to event-type blanket sales orders and prevents order creation until the field is filled.

  • The system provides the availability overview for loan-in-use items on the LIU Item Avail. by Event page. The page calculates projected inventory based on inventory, blanket sales order demand and sales return order supply, excluding derived sales orders and standard demand forecast entries. The LIU Item Availability by Event action on the Blanket Sales Order Subform page opens the overview filtered to the item on the current line, and the same action on the Item Card page is visible only when the item is configured as a loan-in-use item. The system only shows this functionality when the Automatic create Return Order toggle on the Event Management Setup page is turned on.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The LIU Item Avail. by Event page has been added.
  • The LIU Item Availability by Event action has been added to the Blanket Sales Order Subform page.
  • The LIU Item Availability by Event action has been added to the Item Card page.
  • The Automatically Create Return Order toggle has been added to the Event Management Setup page.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.
