Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean E-Commerce extension, you can:

• Modify previously submitted sales orders that are in Open status directly from the E-Commerce portal without canceling and recreating them. To know more, see Modify orders.

• Interact with an AI assistant to search for items, manage your cart, start orders, view order guidelines, and complete checkout through natural conversation. To know more, see E-Commerce AI Assistant.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

• The Enable AI Assistant (Preview) checkbox has been added to the Site Configuration page in the e-commerce administrator portal.
• A floating AI assistant message button has been added to all pages across the e-commerce portal. This is visible only when the Enable AI Assistant (Preview) checkbox is selected on the Site Configuration page.
• The Edit Order button has been added to the Order Preview page in the e-commerce portal.
• The current ship-to address and requested receiving date have been added as pills to the top of the Item Profile page in e-commerce.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.

340769	The system incorrectly displays the item view by default on the My Cart page in the e-commerce portal.
343788	The system incorrectly treats email addresses as case sensitive during account registration and login.
345435	The system incorrectly displays items on the Order Entry – My Profile page in the e-commerce portal in item number order instead of matching the sequence defined in the user’s profile configuration.
