Enhancements/Modifications
With this release of the Aptean Beverage Customs Document Management extension, Drink-IT Edition,
-
The system automatically resets the EMCS Status field value to New, clears the ARC No. and the Local Reference No. field values, and resets the Sequence Number field value to 0 on the customs document header when an IE810 cancellation confirmation is received from EMCS. This allows the customs document to be re-submitted by processing the IE815 message again.
-
You can view all customs document header records on the Customs Document Overview page, a read-only, filterable list accessible from BC Search. The No., Document Type, Document No., Document Date, EMCS Status, ARC No., and Sell-to/Buy-from Code field values are visible by default; all remaining header fields are available via the Choose Columns action. The Show Document action on the page opens the full document card for the selected record.
-
You can enter and save free-text notes in the Notes field on the Mail History List page to document and follow up on errors in CDM mail history records. The field supports multi-line text and retains the entered notes across sessions.
-
You can select multiple customs documents on the Customs Documents list page and send all IE815 messages at once using the Batch Send IE815 action. When multiple documents are selected, a confirmation dialog appears before processing begins. The batch is non-blocking: if one document fails validation, the batch continues processing the remaining documents. When at least one document fails, the system automatically opens the Error Review page and displays only the failed records together with the corresponding Last Known Error Code field value. From the Error Review page, you can open the Customs Document card page, correct the data, and either process the document individually using the Process IE815 Message action or re-trigger the batch using the Resend Batch IE815 action. The error record is updated on each resend — not appended — and successfully processed documents are removed from the list automatically.
-
The Consignee Country Code field has been added to the Consignment FastTab on the Customs Document Header page. The field is visible and editable only when the Destination Type Code field is set to 5 (Exempted Consignee) and is automatically populated from the ship-to address country code or, if no ship-to code is specified, from the customer's country code. When the Destination Type Code field is set to 5, the system now includes the consignee member state code in the IE815 message and excludes the consignee trader identification in compliance with EMCS Rule R045. The system validates that the Consignee Country Code field is filled in before the IE815 message can be submitted.
-
Integration events are available for customs document creation in various source documents, enabling partner and customer extensions to subscribe to and extend the customs document creation process.
