Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Backorder Management extension, the system:

• Transfers lot attribute requirements automatically when quantities are moved between sales orders. Lot attribute requirements from the source sales order line are copied to the target sales order line without manual entry. For more information, see Integration with Aptean Advanced Attributes.

• Ensures that contract logic is consistently applied, even when quantities are moved between sales orders, when the Aptean Backorder Management is integrated with the Aptean Contract Management extension. As a result, sales order lines created or updated through backorder management automatically inherit the correct contract information. For more information, see Integration with Aptean Contract Management.

• Validates and determines whether backorder management can be accessed, based on the drop shipment and special order status of sales order lines. For more information, see Integration with Aptean Drop Shipment.

• Validates transport planning status before allowing quantity movements. Sales order lines that are linked to a transport request planned into a transport order can no longer be moved using backorder management. For more information, see Integration with Aptean Transport.
