Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Beverage Advanced Sales Management extension, Drink-IT Edition,

  • the system evaluates SPC condition validity for indirect sales entries based on the Document Date field value on the Indirect Sales Entry, rather than the Posting Date field value of the accrual. This ensures condition rules fire correctly for historical indirect sales when the document date falls within the condition rule's validity window, even if the posting date does not. Additionally, the system now validates the Posting Date field value on the Indirect Sales Journal against the allowed posting date range defined in Business Central. The allowed range is determined in priority order from the Gen. Journal Template, the User Setup, and the General Ledger Setup as a fallback. If the posting date falls outside the permitted range, the system raises a field error on the Posting Date field.
