Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Beverage Advanced Sales Management extension, Drink-IT Edition,

  • The system adds items related to a promotion rule directly to the order lines from the Order Entry Promotion Items page, to measure if the promotion is met and retrieve the overview of the item list which are linked to the active promotion. On opening the Order Entry page, the system validates whether active promotions are valid and the Automatic Calculate Order Entry Promotion Item toggle on the Advanced Sales Management Setup page is turned on, before calculating promotion items, and displays a message when required settings are not active. For each promotion rule, which can be opened from the Alerts FastTab, all applicable items can be calculated using the Calculate Order Entry Promotion Items action. The system displays a confirmation dialog when executing the Calculate Order Entry Promotion Items action more than once, preventing unintended recalculation. For each promotion rule, which can be openend from the Alerts FastTab, all applicable items can be displayed using the Order Entry Promotion Items action on the Order Entry Promotion items page. You can select an item and specify a quantity to add it directly to the order entry lines. The system automatically uses the unit of measure from the corresponding line on the Order Entry page or the sales unit of measure from the Item Card page when no order entry line exists — when calculating items on the Order Entry Promotion Items page. The system correctly applies rounding and unit of measure conversions when promotion quantities span multiple units, using the conversion factors from the Item Unit of Measure page. When promotions exist for the same item across different units of measure, the system automatically updates related promotion line quantities based on the applicable conversion factor The Current Quantity field value on the Promotions List page opens directly to the Order Entry Promotion Items page. For volume promotions defined in hectoliters, the system displays insight information but restricts manual quantity entry where accurate conversion to other units of measure is not possible.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Order Entry Promotion Items page has been added linked to the Sales and Purchase Condition Rules List page.
  • The Calculate Order Entry Promotion Items action has been added to on the Sales and Purchase Condition Rules List page.
  • The Automatically Calculate Order Entry Promotion Item field has been added to the Advanced Sales Management Setup page.

Resolved issues

The following issue has been resolved in this release.
