Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Beverage Advanced Warehouse Management extension, Drink-IT Edition, the system:

  • Allows you to select license plate during positive adjustments with negative quantity and updates the Qty. Selected (Base) field value based on the available license plate number and quantity after executing the Select Plate Numbers action on the License Plate Reservation Entries page.

  • Auto updates all the field values on the Additional Fields page related to the License Plate Info module when selecting the Create Default PostBack action.

  • Allows you to register warehouse picks for mixed inventory on a license plate when a license plate contains multiple items or multiple lots of the same item. For more information, see Setting up warehouse templates.

  • Enhances the warehouse reclassification journal to support complete license plate number–based movement workflows, aligning its functionality with the capabilities already available on the Warehouse Reclassification Journal page.

    • Provides the following functionality:

      • Enables posting license plate movements that include multiple items or multiple lot numbers within a single license plate number.
      • Supports moving entire license plate numbers in a single transaction through the warehouse reclassification journal, ensuring consistency with the item reclassification journal workflow.
      • Validates whether a license plate number is assigned to multiple destination bins during posting.

      • Displays an appropriate error message when conflicting destination bin assignments are detected.

  • Provides the capability to move an entire license plate from one bin to another, even when the license plate contains multiple items and/or multiple lot numbers. This functionality is supported in both directed and on-directed locations, enabling warehouse users to efficiently reorganize inventory without performing item-level movements.
    Key functionalities:

    • Allows a complete license plate to be transferred between bins within the same location.
    • License plates containing:
      • Multiple items
      • Multiple lot numbers
        are fully supported.
    • This move operation is permitted only when all contents of the license plate are stored in a single bin.
    • During the movement, the system strictly enforces all existing warehouse rules, including:
      • Bin exclusivity
      • Excise type validations
      • Other standard warehouse constraints

    • As a result, inventory can be reorganized without any manual handling of individual items.

  • Ensures that the location code on a license plate remains accurate when items are moved using the Warehouse Reclassification Journal page.

    • Provides the following functionality:

      • Automatically updates the Location Code field value on the license plate after a movement is posted through the Warehouse Reclassification Journal page.
      • Ensures that each license plate always reflects the correct and current warehouse location, improving inventory visibility and data accuracy.

      • Prevents inconsistencies where a license plate could remain associated with an outdated location after items have been reclassified.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Move License Plate page has been added.
  • The Move License Plate action has been added to the License Plate List and License Plate Card pages.
  • The Allow Scanning Mixed License Plate field has been added to the Warehouse Templates page.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.

This issue occurs when a negative quantity is entered in a journal or document; the item tracking already follows the negative sign, but the Quantity (Base) field value on the License Plate Reservation Entries page does not follow the same sign.
336647The system fails to prevent the use of the same license plate number across multiple lines in the License Plate No. field on the License Plate Reservation Entries page. This issue occurs when users attempt to enter the same license plate number in the License Plate No. field on the License Plate Reservation Entries page.
323226The system fails to display an error when license plate number is not on original bin anymore when opening in shop floor production app. It is now mandatory, after the error message, to close and open the shop floor production screen to update the correct bin.
