Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Pay extension,

  • You can import ad-hoc payments from Aptean Pay into the Aptean Pay Receipts Queue page. Ad-hoc payments are payments not linked to payment requests or pre-authorizations, such as guest checkout payments, account payments, and short-pays. To import ad-hoc payments, turn on the Import Ad-hoc Payments toggle on the Payment Receipts FastTab of the Aptean Pay Setup page. This toggle is turned off by default to maintain the existing behavior for all current workflows. Ad-hoc payments are processed through the same acceptance workflow as payment request and pre-authorization payments. Additionally, the Accept to Receipt Journal field value on the Aptean Pay Receipts Queue page is editable, so you can review and toggle the acceptance of any payment before processing.

  • You can enter payment details in a redesigned payment method form with an improved layout. The form displays a loading indicator while it initializes and presents the credit card entry fields in a structured card format with clearly labeled sections for card details and billing address. Additionally, the form validates the format of the email address and phone number before the payment method is saved.

UI/UX changes

The Import Ad-hoc Payments toggle has been added to the Aptean Pay Setup page.
