Set up weigh scale

The Weigh Scale Setup page allows you to setup the lot number and shipping container/shipping unit behavior for weigh scale registration.

To setup weigh scale, follow these steps:

Select the Search icon , enter Weigh Scale Setup and then choose the related link.
The Weigh Scale Setup page opens.
On the General FastTab, fill in the required information in the following fields:

Field	Description
Use Lot No. for Receipt	Specifies the Lot No. field value populated during weigh scale registration from a warehouse receipt. When opening a weigh scale registration from a warehouse receipt after a previous Save or Save and Close. The available options are: Blank: The Lot No. field remains blank. Last Weight Scale Entry: The Lot No. field is populated with the lot number from the last weight scale entry.
Use Packaging Code	Specifies the shipping container code and shipping unit code populated during weigh scale registration. The available options are: Blank: If a shipping container and/or shipping unit setup exists on the item card, the system populates the shipping container code and shipping unit code based on the item setup. If no setup exists on the item card, the system leaves the shipping container code and shipping unit code empty. Last Weight Scale Entry: If a shipping container and/or shipping unit setup for the Item Bound type exists on the item card, the system populates the shipping container code and/or shipping unit code and their quantities from the item setup. If a shipping container and/or shipping unit setup for the Order Bound type exists, or no default setup is available, populate the shipping container code, shipping unit code, and their quantities from the last weigh scale entry.

Last Weight Scale Entry: If a shipping container and/or shipping unit setup for the Item Bound type exists on the item card, the system populates the shipping container code and/or shipping unit code and their quantities from the item setup.
If a shipping container and/or shipping unit setup for the Order Bound type exists, or no default setup is available, populate the shipping container code, shipping unit code, and their quantities from the last weigh scale entry.
