Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Weigh Scale extension,

  • Several usability improvements have been introduced to streamline warehouse weighing processes.

  • You can use the Weigh Scale User Setup page to support user-specific default scale codes.
    The system automatically populates the scale code during weight registration based on the user’s configured default for receipts and shipments. If no user setup exists, it falls back to the location card default. The scale code remains editable, allowing manual override.

    The support for using the same scale across multiple locations has been reworked in bug ID \#357539 and fixed in version, 2601.1.0.0 of the Aptean Scale Integration extension.

  • You can define the lot number and shipping container and/or shipping unit for weigh scale registration using the Use Lot No for Receipt and Use Packaging Code field values on the Weigh Scale Setup page. For more information, see Set up weigh scale.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Lot No. field has been moved before the License Plate No. field on the Weight Scale Registration page for improved data entry flow.
  • The Transfer Weigh Scale Entries action has been added to the Warehouse Receipt page.
  • The Weigh Scale User Setup page has been added.
  • The Weigh Scale Setup page has been added.
