Enhancements/Modifications
With this release of the Aptean Warehouse Management System extension,
-
You can use the Resolve Quantity from AI toggle within the warehouse receipt barcode processing logic. The system interprets decimal precision for AI 310x codes and ensures that net weight in kilograms is captured with the correct number of decimal places.
-
Turn on the Resolve Quantity from AI toggle to enable automatic quantity resolution during barcode scanning. The toggle is turned off by default.
-
The system supports AI 30, AI 37, AI 310x, and custom configurable application identifiers for quantity and weight resolution.
-
When no custom AI is configured, the system uses the value from AI 37 when AI 37 or AI 30 is present and uses the value from AI 30 when AI 37 is not present. When the GS1 Application Identifier of Field No. (Qty) field is configured, the system prioritizes the configured AI value if it exists in the scanned barcode. Otherwise, the system uses AI 37 and then AI 30 if neither is present. Additionally, the system sets the default quantity to 0 in the Warehouse Receipt module and ensures accurate quantity resolution during barcode scanning.
-
-
In the location setup, the Scan Destination License Plate field can be configured on in the Module Validation page for the Ad Hoc Movement module.
This setup allows you to move quantity from one license plate to another existing license plate that already contains inventory using the scanner. However, if you try to move quantity to a new license plate or to an existing empty license plate, the system displays an error during scanning, and the movement is not be allowed.
