Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Warehouse Management System extension, the system:

• Allows you to configure and display customizable subheaders (including Lot No., Unit of Measure, Quantity, and Item No.) on request forms on the License Plate Info module in the scanner by defining header field identifiers on the Request Form Header Fields page and format patterns (e.g., %1 - %2 - %3) via the Scanning Subheader Format field value on the Request Form page, providing immediate visibility of key license plate content details before making adjustments.

• Introduces the ability to move a partial quantity from an existing license plate number to another license plate number in the Ad Hoc Movement. This enhancement provides greater flexibility in inventory handling when items need to be split across multiple license plates during warehouse operations.
  
  The system provides the following functionality:

  • Allows posting of license plate movements that include multiple items or multiple lot numbers within a single license plate.
  • Supports moving entire license plate numbers in a single transaction through the warehouse reclassification journal, ensuring consistency with the tem eclassification ournal workflow.
  • Validates whether a license plate number is assigned to more than one destination bin during posting.

  • If conflicting destination bin assignments are detected, the system displays an appropriate error message.

• Supports moving license plates that contain multiple items and/or multiple lot numbers in directed locations using Ad Hoc ovement.

  • Provides the following functionality:
  • Allows you to move full license plates that contain:
    • A single item with a single lot,
    • A single item with multiple lots, or
    • Multiple items with multiple lots.
  • Guides you through the correct workflow when moving full or partial quantities from a license plate in a directed location.
  • Supports quantity-based movements where you may:
    • Move the full license plate number,
    • Move a selected lot,
    • Move a selected item/lot combination,
    • Split quantities across new license plate numbers, or
    • Leave remaining quantities on the original license plate number.
  • Displays selection prompts when you need to choose an tem, ot, or new , depending on the scenario.
  • Validates quantities, ensuring you cannot move more stock than is available on the license plate.
  • Ensures that remaining quantities always stay correctly on the original license plate after a partial move.

  • Movement flows work consistently whether you scan the first or the bin first, supporting all irected ocation configurations.

UI/UX changes

The Header Fields action and the Scanning Subheader Format field has been added to the Request Form (WMS) page.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.

ID	Description
341820	The system fails to auto-increment the Index field and the Identifier field on the Request Form Header Fields page. This issue occurs when creating new lines, preventing each line from automatically receiving a higher number as it does in the scanning modules. Additionally, this prevents the move up/down functionality from working correctly.
334095	The system fails to restrict the usage of request forms to the specified scanning module based on the For Module field value on the Request Form page. This issue occurs when the For Module field value is set to a specific scanning module.
340175	The system fails to update the Type field value on the License Plate page even though a default license plate type is defined for the item.
331188	An error occurs during ad hoc movement and outbound picking when scanning a license plate that contains multiple lots of the same item.
348110	The system incorrectly prompts you to confirm the License Plate Type during ad hoc movement on the Ad Hoc Movement screen, even when a default license plate type is defined for the item and the source license plate. This issue arises when the Confirm License Plate Type field value is set to When unknown. The system incorrectly updates the License Plate Type of the source license plate when moving part of a license plate to a new destination license plate. This issue arises because the selected License Plate Type field value for the destination license plate is also applied to the source license plate.
344055	The system fails to update the Location Code field value on the License Plate page when items are moved using the ad hoc movement process. This issue occurs when a quantity is moved from an existing license plate to a new bin and a new SSCC is generated during the movement.
321927	The system fails to display an error when a license plate number is associated with multiple bins and it is allowed by turning on the Allow 1 LPN on multiple Bins toggle on the Adv. Warehouse Setup page.
