Print detailed SSCC labels

The SSCC Detailed Label report (70219127) prints detailed labels for SSCC numbers. Each label can include addresses, document information, item and packaging information, weights, and GS1-128 barcodes.

Prerequisites

Before printing detailed labels:

  • Install version 1.1.0.0 or later of the Aptean Reporting Translation extension.
  • Register report 70219127 on the SSCC Label Layouts page.
  • Assign the detailed layout on the Company SSCC Setup, Customer SSCC Setup, or Transfer Route SSCC Setup page.
  • Create at least one SSCC line for the SSCC number to be printed.

Set up the detailed label

  1. Open the SSCC Label Layouts page.

  2. Add a layout and enter information in the following fields:

    Report IDEnter 70219127.
    No. of CopiesEnter 0 to print one label, or enter a positive value to set the number of report outputs.

    The Report Name field displays SSCC Detailed Label when the report ID is registered.

  3. Assign the layout:

    • On the Company SSCC Setup page, enter the layout code in the Detailed SSCC Lbl Layout Code field.
    • On the Customer SSCC Setup page, select the Enable SSCC checkbox and enter the layout code in the SSCC Label Layout Code field. A customer layout takes precedence over the company layout.
    • On the Transfer Route SSCC Setup page, select the Enable SSCC checkbox and enter the layout code in the SSCC Label Layout Code field. A transfer route layout takes precedence over the company layout.

  1. Open one of the following pages:

    • SSCC List
    • SSCC Card
    • SSCC Lines
    • Posted SSCC List
    • Posted SSCC Card
    • Posted SSCC Lines

  2. Select an SSCC record or line, open the Print group, and select the Print detailed SSCC label(s) action.
    The SSCC Detailed Label report prints the configured label.

The report supports SSCCs created from Sales Orders and Transfer Orders through Warehouse Shipments and Inventory Picks. Detailed labels can also be printed for posted Sales Shipments and posted Transfer Shipments.

Review the label content

The detailed label includes the following information:

  • The From: and To: captions with the company and destination addresses.
  • The SSCC: number.
  • The Document No.:, Item:, Content:, and Count: values.
  • The Best Before Date (DD-MM-YY):, Batch/Lot:, No of Pallets:, and Net Weight: values.
  • A GS1-128 barcode containing the SSCC number and a GS1-128 barcode containing the item and shipment information.

The label also includes the following order reference caption:

The label captions and item descriptions support da-DK, de-DE, es-ES, fr-FR, nl-NL, sv-SE, and zh-CN. Sales documents use the document language. Transfer documents use the current user's language because transfer documents do not provide a customer language. The item description uses the Item Translation record for the selected language when a translation exists; otherwise, the default item description is printed.

The item barcode includes the GTIN with application identifier (02) when a GTIN exists, the expiration date with application identifier (15) when an expiration date exists, the quantity with application identifier (37), and the lot number with application identifier (10). The SSCC barcode uses application identifier (00). When no GTIN exists, the item barcode omits application identifier (02).

For example, a Sales Order with a French document language and a French item translation prints the translated label captions and item description together with the French destination address and GS1-128 barcodes.

If the selected SSCC has no SSCC lines, the system shows the Nothing to print. error.
