Manage profile categories

Profile categories allow report profiles to be organized into meaningful groups based on their intended use, such as Regulatory, Internal, or R&D reporting. To manage profile categories, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Profile Categories, and then choose the related link.
    The Profile Categories list page opens.
  2. On the action bar, select New to create a new profile category.
  3. Enter the required information to define the category in the following fields:

    FieldDescription
    CodeEnter a unique category code (up to 10 characters). For example, enter QC for Quality Control or REG for Regulatory submissions.
    DescriptionEnter a descriptive name for the category (up to 100 characters). Use clear terminology that describes the category's purpose.
  4. Select OK to save the categories.
