You can select a profile on the Report Request page to apply field overrides, consolidation logic, and rounding methods to the report output without modifying the underlying report design. Proof-of-concept profile application workflows can be implemented to demonstrate end-to-end functionality from profile setup through report generation. To implement profile POC workflows, follow these steps:
- Select the Search icon
, enter Report Profiles Setup, and then choose the related link.
The Report Profiles Setup page opens. - Create a new report profile following the setup procedures.
- Configure profile categories, rules, and field transformations.
- On the action bar, select Publish Profile to activate the profile.
- Navigate to a supported report and open the request page.
- In the Profile Selection field, select your POC profile.
- Generate the report and verify that transformations are applied correctly.
- Review the output to validate field overrides, data filtering, and formatting rules.
